The rape and murder of two young girls has not even entered its second month that this young boy was found dead with his throat slit.
Asrar Mushtaq, 19, a 2nd year student at Islamia College, Zadibal had gone missing on Friday evening after he had left home for gym. Police recovered his throat-slit body from Sheikh Mohalla near Malkha in old city late last night and handed it over to his family this morning.
The police i am told have treated this case very irresponsibly, otherwise why could'nt they find a single clue about his wherabouts in 6 days. I am told that this young boy was a promising student from a good home. He was not involved in any criminal activities. The appalling reality seems to be that this young man was also killed by the same agensies who killed the young girls of shopian.
This murder also raises worrying questions about who is safe in kashmir. Its just free for all , We are entering a dangerous period . It is vital that all Kashmiris, of every poltical idelogy, maintain a sense of perspective and confront this barbarism whenever it appears with a united voice of condemnation.

I have been despondent ever since i heard about the incidents like such of Asrar who is innocent and was put to death at his adolescent age where he has to live with solace instead has to lie in deep slumber forever till he gets justice. There are so many like him murdered in past and today i was his turn, but shame is on us we have rulers who we have selected by election are also kashmiri's but have stoned heart, hardly it matters for them any killings like his, Oh God! what is going on your paradise? where people kill others? where sisters got molested? where chastity has no value? where people got blind by material life?
Our representatives are at the distance watching everything being mute spectators and speak no word or act ?? why so? they must wear bangles like girls and be under veil so that nobody look at them??

If u really are sincere, resign from NC and join the freedom movement....then Kashmiris will consider you as being serious.
So, stop shedding crocodiles tears, make your moolah(your party is in power and haven't u guys waited for so long) and of course enjoy your Indian masters company.

Thank you for taking bitter criticism, not a lot of people can do that.
However,I will be satisfied only when all Kashmiris irrespective of their prejudices/denominations stand in unison against what India has done or is doing to our madre-wattan Kashmir and work towards our complete liberation from the Indian yoke.
Until then, publishing a post of mine will neither satisfy you nor any Kashmiri.
