A Tearful Adieu

It took time for the police to get the name of the body lying in Police Control Room, Srinagar. After identification , the victim turned out to be 14-year old Wamiq of Rainawari. And with his death one more Kashmiri family lost its beloved. Since his house is in a close vicinity in Rainawari i learnt that Moments before being hit by a tear-smoke shell fired by a police men, he was playing in a local ground . He remained nameless for alomost 9 hours in the mortuary of the Police Control Room.

Jostling through narrow lanes and bylanes of Rainawari, emotionally charged youth were uncontrollable and the anger would show on their faces before Men, women and children bid a tearful adieu to him.

That's it:(. May his soul rest in peace . Ameen.

This is unjust use of force against the masses. The killings of innocent youth and reckless human rights violations by troops stationed to suppress the movement for right to self-determination are continuing unabated.

The killing spree is going on unchecked in Kashmir. The graph of human rights violations by forces is going up. Had the fear of death been successful to suppression in freedom movements, than no revolution would have taken place in Russia and France. Neither would India itself won freedom.

It is shocking. And inspite of these attrocities the army is not even letting the family to wail peacefully. The whole house was ransaked and the mourners beaten to pulp. Shame on india and their puppets.

A video I made on history of Kashmir. All feedback's are welcome.
