Life: So MEANINGLESS IN KASHMIR

Two stories one day ...

No:1
Suspected militants yesterday opened fire in the main market area of Jammu and Kashmir known as the LAL CHOWK, killing one police officer and critically injuring many civilians. A pro-Pakistan militant group, Jamiat-ul-Mujahedin, said it was behind the assault. claming that three of their men have launched a fidayeen (suicide) attack in Lal Chowk.

A Deputy Superintendent of Police, shot at and injured a local journalist, in broad daylight at the City center. The incident took place two hours after the gun battle between the militants and forces ended.

Inspite of the great efforts, Some people are just not ready for a prosperous kashmir . Thats why i say life has lost its meaning in kashmir ...!

Kashmir is a a story of uncertanity. The attack itself might or might not turn out to be an isolated incident. But what is troubling is that it took place within the context of a deterioration in relations between India and Pakistan.

According to a Hurriyat (G) statement, a meeting chaired by acting General Secretary Feroz Ahmed Khan paid tributes to the militants.
“We will not allow the blood of these martyrs go waste. They sacrifice for our future. We continue to strive for safeguarding the movement till its logical conclusion,” said the Hurriyat (G) members.
“The best tribute to the martyrs,” the Hurriyat (G) spokesperson said, “will be to support the demand for right to self-determination without any compromise.”
Hurriyat (G) delegation also visited the house of one of the militants Manzoor Ahmed Bhat at Seeru Sopore and expressed solidarity with the family members.

National Front chairman, Nayeem Ahmed Khan visited the residence of slain militant. “The armed rebellion was a compulsion for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Our movement is neither a terrorist movement nor is it just a border dispute between India and Pakistan,” said Nayeem while addressing a gathering on the occasion.
Stressing on the importance of United Jehad Council’s role in resolving the issue, Khan said, “The presence of UJC in any resolution process is indispensable. They are sacrificing their present for the future of the masses.”
“We are the heirs of the sacrifices and have to support the resistance movement until its logical conclusion,” said Khan.
